Tai Chi pop up classes

These classes will cover Tai Chi warm up and body scanning of the physical, emotional and mental. You will learn basic principles of tai chi in simple slow meditative movements. Moving the body and mind together brings oneness and presence to the experience.  For beginners and seasoned practitioners.

Abdominal Self Care class

​

In this class we will learn and explore our abdominal area.

How to take care of the belly with self massage techniques

to open the flow of energy and blood circulation in the

abdominal organs, as well as relieving stress and negative emotions

stored in the belly.

A great tool for staying healthy physically, emotionally and spiritually.

The abdomen is our vitality center also called Hara, when it is healthy, the

rest of the body will follow.

 

Each class includes the needs of the students

The Water Element class

Strengthening the Kidneys, Bones and Inner Stability

​

The Water element is the season of winter.

Learn to gain more strength,creativeness, enhanced willpower, memory, calmness and peace. Gain access to enhance your well being and inner strength, bone health and life force. How to keep your Water element in balance during winter is the focus of this class.

Learn to strengthen the kidneys and our inner vitality with qigong and self massage/ meridian work

 

3. Class

Bone breathing. Learn with this simple method to strengthen the bones bringing inner peace. The bones are part of the Water element govern by the kidneys.

4. Class

Meditation for the kidneys, gain access to deeper connection to your Essence and Flow. Kidneys stores our vitality and its distribution to the rest of the body/mind.

Learn simple exercises to enhance lung health

with qigong, Japanese self massage, meditation and breath.

Strengthening the Immune System with Awareness

These classes offer self balance by relaxing and releasing stress in body and mind.

Classes are based on Chinese Medicin and there will be focus on the 3 body centers.The upper -, middle - and lower part of the body.

​

Each class uses self evaluation and includes: Tuning into the 3 centers, strengthening, releasing stress with qigong, self shiatsu, Japanese self massage, and meditation.

1 Class: Body Scanning/Listening Class

How do one listen and sense where the strengths and weaknesses occur in the body? Be your own best guide in knowing what your own body needs for self healing. Learn to detect when something is out of balance inside.

2 Class: Strengthening the immune system according to Chinese Medicine

We are going to work with Three Heaters , the lower, middle and upper part of the body. The 3 Heaters are responsible for our immune system and vitality. Strengthening these centers is a great way to boost one’s overall health and well being. In this class you will learn the location of the 3 Centers and how to strengthen each  of them.

 

3 Class:  The Polyvagal theory, release stress in the nervous system

Looking at how the nervous system work and a way to recognize your stress level. How the 3 Heaters helps to regulate the nervous system and apply exercises for releasing stress.

 4 Class: Learn to distinguish your own healing needs and strengthening your health

Distinguish your own healing needs and ways you can help yourself in dealing with stress and how to strengthen your body, mind and immune system using the 3 Heaters as a guide post.

Benefitts include: Discovering stress in your body, determing the level of stress in the 3 centers to help balance the physical, emotional, and mind.

The program is proven effective by medical studies and supported by arthritis foundation’s worldwide. It can be practiced sitting as well as standing. Almost anyone, of any physical condition can begin and continue to progress regardless age.

Exploring the Earth Element: Finding the Earth Within

Finding the Earth within by connecting to the quality of the season of late summer which is the Earth element according to Chinese medicine. . Earth imbalances are being uprooted, lack of security, worry, not being able to relax and being supported in life. Gain access to the qualities of Earth such as grounding, stability, being nourished and having trust in life.

Waking Up Energy - Vitality Class

The energy we have is the foundation for health. According to Chinese medicine, the root cause of sickness is an imbalance in the energy flow within. In this class, energy/Chi will be distinguished. You will discover what Chi is, it's functions and the benefits. You will learn how to access Chi from within and outside of oneself by practicing energy enhancing exercises.

Improved Sleep with the 6 Healing Sounds 

The 6 Healing Sounds are a series of Chi Kung movements with sounds that helps to release internal stress stored in the organs, supporting calmness and peace within.
